Circuitos Ciência Viva - Um cartão, Um Guia, Uma App.

The kit, consisting of a card, a guidebook with 20 Journeys and an app, costs €70 and can be purchased at the ticket offices of the 21 Ciência Viva Science Centres, on the Ciência Viva Journeys website and at FNAC physical stores and online ticket office. 

The card can be used by:

1) Two adults (related or unrelated);

2) Two adults and their children up to 17 years of age – no limit on the number of children;

At the time of activation, only three children can be included. If you have more than three children, please contact us by email.

It can be extended to children between the ages of 18 and 25 for an additional payment of €10 per child over the age of 18.

The card is valid for one year from the date of activation. The activation code assigned at the time of purchase is valid for 60 days. If you do not activate the card within the specified period, your card subscription will be cancelled.

The card´s validity period is not related to the civil year.

On the same day the code is activated on the website, you will receive an email with a password. If you download the Ciência Viva Journeys app, you will have access to the digital card on the day of activation and can start using the card from that day onwards. The printed card will be sent within a few days to the address provided on the online form you filled out.

The National Network of Ciência Viva Science Centres currently has 22 centres, such as the Pavilion of Knowledge, the Côa Museum, the UC Exploratório – CCV in Coimbra, the Biodiversity Gallery – CCV in Porto, among others, distributed throughout mainland Portugal and on the islands of São Miguel and Faial in the Azores. Although the Centro de Ciência do Café is still not integrated in the card. Soon we will have news about its integration and when it will start to receive visitors with free entrance with the card. The card allows you to visit all Ciência Viva Science Centres integrated in the card (currently 21) free of charge as many times as you wish for one year.

No. Programmed activities at CV Science Centres that have an associated price are not covered by the card. However, activities are often free and take place on weekends. In the case of the Pavilion of Knowledge, find out about the activities available and prices on the Weekend Activities page in the website of the Pavilion of Knowledge.

The card can be renewed online on the website with a discount of 5 euros. This option is only available during the last month of the card´s validity. You will receive email alerts notifying you that your card is about to expire and how you can renew it online. If you have been a user and wish to renew after this period, please contact us by email.

The printed version of the passport has run out of stock. It also has a digital version in the app. If you have an active card, you can still collect digital stamps in the app and win prizes! Visit the Science Centres and receive a digital stamp or a sticker if you have the printed passport for each different centre you visit. On your 5th, 10th, 15th and 21st visits, you are entitled to receive a prize. the 3rd edition of the passport and its dinamic with the prizes ends in the 30th June 2026.

Purchase a digital Gift Voucher and it will be sent with the card activation code to the future Explorer´s email address. Upon activating the code, the person will receive the Ciência Viva Journeys kit (Guidebook and printed card) at home. The digital card is immediately available for use in the app.

In the event of loss, theft or robbery of your Ciência Viva Journeys card, you should send us an email as soon as possible, indicating your name, address and updated contact details.

The activation period is 60 days. After this period, it is not possible to activate your card. For exceptional cases such as sudden illness or data registration errors, please contact us by email.
